J.M. Evosevich, Ph.D., LMFT, CADC, BCBA is a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, as well as holding certifications as an Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor and Behavior Analyst. Dr. Evosevich earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, M.A. in Counseling Psychology and holds licenses as a Registered Nurse and Registered Respiratory Therapist. He has been on staff at Desert Regional Medical Center, Charter Behavioral Health Center, Pacific Clinics, Desert AIDS Project, AIDS Foundation San Diego, and Palm Springs Unified School District where he has held clinical and administrative positions. He has served as President and Chief Financial Officer of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists. Dr. Evosevich's community involvement includes the position of Chair of the Board of Directors for the Regional Access Project Foundation, board and grant committee member of the Anderson Children's Foundation and Desert Healthcare District, as well as President/CEO of the Lake Arrowhead Film Festival. He was appointed and served on the First 5 Riverside Commission Advisory Board and is a graduate of Leadership Coachella Valley. Additionally he was the Chair of the Board of Directors of Family Services of the Desert. Dr. Evosevich formerly chaired the City of Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Commisssion and served as an advisory member of the Palm Springs General Plan Steering Committee. He has spoken internationally about stress, anxiety disorders, intimacy, relationships, HIV Disease, and workplace issues. Dr. Evosevich has written books and numerous articles on a range of mental and emotional health topics.
